Advances in animal agriculture confirm the importance of adequate training for livestock farming management from a local and global perspective. CVTC s Animal Science Management associate degree gives students the skills needed to work in the dairy, beef, and specialty livestock industry, with a focus on dairy and meat animal management.

This program is offered

Before the first day of classes.
Livestock Technician is embedded in this program. This program may transfer in part or whole to a 4-year university.
CVTC offers its students career service to aid in finding employment during and after an educational program.
CVTC offers tutoring to students through the Academic Services department.

The costs listed are an estimate based on current 2018-2019 tuition and fee rates and is intended for planning purposes only. If your program has an amount for books listed, the figure is an estimate of what you will pay for books throughout the duration of your program if you purchase your books through the CVTC bookstore. Additional material fees vary by program and may include toolboxes, laptops, shop/lab coats, safety glasses, parts room deposit, or shirts. These costs are estimates.
Refunds for all courses scheduled to meet a semester or longer: 100% before the first day the class meets. The day the class meets and not the time of day defines the first class meeting. 80% during the first 14 calendar days from the first instructional day of the term. 60% during the 15th through the 28th calendar days from the first instructional day of the term.
